Bob Anderson
Bob Anderson, The Limestone Cowboy, is another legend among legends. Bob is another character of the sport, dressed in cowboy shirts, darts at the ready. Bob makes his entrance onto stage to his namesake song "Like a Limestone Cowboy" and he soon starts to shoot down his opponents.

Eric Bristow MBE ("The Crafty Cockney") born Hackney, London, 25 April 1957 is a British darts player, whose skill at the game in the 1980s helped turn it into a worldwide spectator sport.

John Gwynne
Richard John Gwynne (born 1945, England, UK) former teacher and present British sports commentator and reporter. He is a commentator for the PDC darts tournaments which air on Sky Sports. Gwynne is also well known, particularly in darts, for his famous saying of 'if you hold your throw, you never know'. John writes the monthly column "The Mancunian Way" for Darts World Magazine and at one time was also responsible for 'ghost writing' Wayne Mardle's column, 'Wayne's World' in the same magazine.

John Lowe
John Lowe (born in New Tupton, Derbyshire on 21 July 1945) was one of the main competitors who made darts such a huge spectator sport in the 1970s and 1980s.
